Tantillo Foods Giveaway Winner!

The winner of the Tantillo Food's giveaway has been selected!

I used random.org to randomly select a winner.  I just want to point out that while there were 44 comments, I received 2 emails from people letting me know they were unable to leave a comment due to an issue with Blogger.  Because of this, I made sure to include them in the entries!

The lucky winner is comment #9!

Alisen left the 9th comment!

Congrats Alisen!  I've passed your emailed address along to Tantillo Foods and you should be hearing from someone soon so you can claim your prize!!

Tantillo Foods Review & Giveaway!

First off, I feel like I have neglected this poor blog.  Ok.  There's no "I feel like".  I really have neglected this blog.  I'm pretty sure y'all understand why.  Everything happened with Kate and I just didn't have time to post reviews/ giveaways timely so I stopped accepting offers.

However, when I was asked if I would be interested in reviewing Tantillo Food products (and giving some yummy things away to y'all), I couldn't say no.

Why?

Well, because I love food.  Especially high quality food!  And because this wonderful company immediately said Kate came first when we got her original transplant schedule and I was scrambling to get everything ready for her hospital stay.  They were adamant that my priorities be with Kate and told me not to worry about the review if I didn't have time.  Now that?  That's a company I want help promote!

So, on to the yummy stuff!

I received a goodie box filled to the brim with amazing Tantillo products!  I unloaded it all to see what I had and immediately Alex was all "what's this?  When are you going to cook something?".

And so I whipped something up!  I used the Tantillo Tomato Basil Sauce and made a quick, easy, delicious baked pasta dish for Alex and I.  I made sure to keep some noodles and sauce out for Kate (since she can't eat cheese which I included in our dish) so she could enjoy her first taste of spaghetti!

And enjoy it she did!

Alex and I enjoyed our dinner just as much!  We also enjoyed our dessert - strawberries drizzled in Balsamic Bliss!

The Balsamic Bliss is so good that I made a special trip to the grocery for heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil so I has something else to use it on.  I even baked chicken and used the Balsamic Bliss as a glaze.  I pretty much put it on anything I could think of because I am borderline obsessed with it.

It is amazing!

I had several other goodies to try (lemon juice, lime juice, olive oil) and everything was amazing quality and delicious!  I know I will be a repeat customer!

One of y'all will also get to experience the yumminess because Tantillo's is giving a lovely reader a gift basket filled with their products!
